Torsion in Strength Configuration

The strength configuration allows for torsion design according to the US standard ANSI/AWC NDS for timber structures. When torsion is present, users can perform design checks that take into account the shear stress. Options are available to either allow further design checks if the shear stress does not exceed the limit, to evaluate the torsion according to the Timber Construction Manual, Section 4.6, or to ignore the torsion.
