Wind Drop Tower

The Wind Drop Tower in Hamburg uses a double-skin facade to minimize wind impact in strong wind areas.

The Wind Drop Tower is a uniquely designed skyscraper in Hamburg's Grasbrook district, featuring a drop-shaped structure that minimizes wind impact through its double-skin facade system. This design is a result of detailed morphological and climatic analysis considering strong winds from the North Sea. The project was part of a Master's thesis by Sara Artioli, Davide Baracca, and Tommaso Caleffi.
