Tab "Surfaces" for Steel Design According to EN 1993
The image shows the “Surfaces” tab in the Steel Design add-on, where limit values for special cases are defined for internal forces and stresses. These limit values ensure that certain small internal forces and stresses are not considered in the design to avoid unnecessary combinations. The threshold value applies to equivalent stresses according to von Mises theory. Plastic design for nonlinear materials can be optionally enabled.
