Steel Joint RFEM 6 – Undefined Connected Plate Due to Incorrect Component Sequence
The RFEM 6 plausibility check of a steel joint shows an undefined connected plate when the component sequence is incorrect.
In the “New Steel Joint” dialog box, the weld is located above the plate in the component list. Since the components in the Steel Joints add-on are processed sequentially from top to bottom, the weld cannot access the plate defined below it. The plausibility check therefore displays the message “Undefined connected plate.”
