Result Combinations With Formation of Auxiliary Combinations

Result combinations with creation of auxiliary combinations

The figure shows a list with seven result combinations (RC1 to RC7) and the associated auxiliary combinations according to EN 1990. The combinations RC1 to RC4 are used to determine leading actions, where the auxiliary combinations contain individual load cases (LC1/p, LC2 + LC3 + LC4, LC5, LC6, or LC7). The result combinations RC5 to RC7 are assigned to the ultimate limit state (ULS) and are composed of implicitly defined factors, for example 1.35 · RC1/p + 1.50 · RC2 + 0.75 · RC3 + 0.90 · RC4. The illustration demonstrates the creation of auxiliary combinations for automatic superposition according to EN 1990.
