Automatic determination of imperfections according to EN 1993-1-1
The dialog box contains the tabs “Main,” “Buckling Mode,” and “Assignment” for the automatic detection of imperfections. The EN 1993-1-1 definition type allows for the analysis of 10 configurations. The parameters include cross-section design using elastic or plastic analysis, as well as prestressing for members without a buckling curve and for surfaces and solids with a value of e₀/L equal to 1/150,000. Table 5.1 is also displayed, listing the design values of the local initial bow e₀/L for each buckling curve a through d for elastic and plastic analysis, as well as a graph of the imperfection mode with deflection e₀ as a function of member length L.
