Defining parameters of the bracing surface: type "Surface"
The “Bracing” dialog box shows the parameters for the “Surface” bracing type using trapezoidal sheeting. Side lap joints are spaced at regular intervals. For the secondary beams, bolts with a diameter of 6.3 mm and walls with a diameter of 22.0 mm are defined at each rib on the lower chord, with the connection stiffness determined to be 5.20 kN/m according to EN 1993-1-3, Table 10.3. The longitudinal beams and side lap joints use hexagonal bolts with a diameter of 5.5–6.3 mm and bolts with a diameter of 4.1–4.8 mm, respectively, with a fastener spacing of 0.500 m. Diagrams illustrate the arrangement of the panels and the eccentricity at the I-beam.
