Define parameters of stabilizing surface: type 'member support'
The dialog for defining the parameters of a stabilizing surface shows the Parameters tab for the stability type "member support". In the "Stabilizing Components" section, sheeting and bracing are activated; the shear field length is 30.000 m and the beam spacing 5.000 m. The trapezoidal sheeting defined is Section 8 – HSA (-) 170/250 – 0.75 made of S235JR, whose shear stiffness is taken as 5.20 kN/m according to EN 1993-1-3, Table 10.3. The stability type "Diagonals" uses diagonals made of MSH QHP 110x4 and posts made of IPE 300 with a post spacing of 3.000 m.
