Defining parameters of the bracing surface: type "Member Support"
The dialog box for defining the parameters of a bracing surface shows the Parameters tab for the “Member Support” bracing type. In the “Stabilizing Components” section, sheeting and bracing are activated; the shear panel length is 30.000 m, and the beam spacing is 5.000 m. The trapezoidal sheeting is defined as cross-section 8 – HSA (-) 170/250 – 0.75 made of S235JR, whose shear stiffness is set at 5.20 kN/m according to EN 1993-1-3, Table 10.3. The “diagonal bracing” type uses diagonals made of MSH QHP 110x4 and posts made of IPE 300, with a post distance of 3,000 m.
