Design of Longitudinal Fillet Welds for AISC 360
The image shows configuration options for the design of longitudinal fillet welds. The "Perform design" option is activated. For the calculation method of the design strength of fillet welds, the "Use specified minimum tensile strength of base metal" option is selected. Alternatively, a user-defined value of the minimum tensile strength of the filler metal can be used. These settings come from the ultimate configuration according to AISC 360.
