Material Model "Orthotropic | Anisotropic Damage"

Material model "Orthotropic | Anisotropic Damage"

The dialog box for the “Orthotropic | Anisotropic Damage” material model shows the material input parameters in the Main, Orthotropic, Material Properties, and Stiffness Modification tabs. The following values are defined: the modulus of elasticity Ex = 12,800 N/mm², as well as Ey and Ez = 427 N/mm²; the shear moduli Gyz = 80 N/mm², Gxz = 800 N/mm², and Gxy = 800 N/mm²; and the Poisson's ratios νyz, νxz, and νxy, each equal to 0.000. Furthermore, the ultimate compressive strengths (fcx = 30,200 N/mm², fcy and fcz = 7,000 N/mm²) and the ultimate tensile strengths (ftx = 15,300 N/mm², fty and ftz = 0.830 N/mm²) are specified; the work hardening moduli Ep are set to 0 N/mm². The graphical display shows the corresponding stress-strain diagram with a linear-elastic rise up to the ultimate tensile strength ft,i, followed by a softening branch with the fracture energy GF,i = gft,i · LFE, as well as the work hardening moduli Ei and Ep,i in the compression area up to the ultimate compressive strength fc,i. The material behavior can be further controlled using the “Linear elastic with nonlinear criteria” option.
