Dlubal Software at Tekla BIM Forum in Berlin

BIM with Dlubal Software and Tekla Structures

25 February 2014

BIM oriented planning is a major trend in the building and construction industry, and also structural engineering is an integral part of Building Information Modeling. For almost 20 years, Dlubal and Tekla have worked closely together on the development of interfaces for the transfer of 3D models.

At this year's Tekla BIM Forum, which took place in Berlin on 13 and 14 February, 200 engineers from around the world came to catch up on advantages and experiences with BIM.

Dlubal Software participated with an information booth where visitors could experience in live presentations the seamless workflow from Tekla to RFEM/RSTAB and back to Tekla.

As a structural model is kept parallel to the physical model in Tekla, it is not necessary to rebuild the model in the structural analysis program, which results in considerable savings of time and supplementary safety in the planning phase.
