The RF-/STEEL EC3 add-on module can carry out all characteristic designs of the ultimate limit state and fire resistance as well as stress and deformation analyses for steel members according to Eurocode 3.

RF-/STEEL Warping Torsion Module Extension

RF-/STEEL Warping Torsion is an extension of the RF‑/STEEL EC3 add‑on module.

The program performs warping torsion analysis of members according to the second-order theory with 7 degrees of freedom and application of imperfections with regard to mode shapes.

RF-/STEEL Plasticity Module Extension

RF-/STEEL Plasticity is an extension of the RF‑/STEEL EC3 add‑on module. In RF‑/STEEL Plasticity, the following design methods are available:

  • Cross-sections consisting of two or three sheets (I-, C-, Z-, L‑sections, channels, tees), flat steel, pipes, and hollow sections according to the Partial Internal Forces Method (PIF‑method) with redistribution by Kindmann / Frickel
  • Elliptical cross‑sections with analytical nonlinear optimization procedure

RF-/PLATE-BUCKLING allows plate buckling analysis of rectangular plates according to the standard EN 1993‑1‑5 or DIN 18800‑3:1990‑11.

It is possible to apply horizontal or vertical stiffeners to the plates (flat plates, angles, T‑stiffeners, trapezoidal stiffeners, channel sections).

RF-/FE-LTB Add-on Module for RFEM/RSTAB

The RF-/FE-LTB add‑on module is used to detach planar sub-structures from spatial RFEM/RSTAB models to calculate them according to the second‑order analysis for torsional buckling considering warping.
