N Node

Nodes are the basis for each analysis model. They define a line or a member by the start and end point. Furthermore, they can be used as clearly defined load introduction points or support points.

Each node can be found and modified in the model by its description and coordinates. Nodes can also be used as guide objects. For example, loads or surface axes systems can be aligned to a node.

Entering in RFEM and RSTAB

Nodes can be entered graphically and defined in RFEM and RSTAB by using 'Insert' → 'Model Data' → 'Nodes' → 'Graphically', by using the corresponding button or tables of the Data Navigator.
