Set of Members
Sets of members are combined members. Thus, several members can be treated like one member which might be desired at some locations in a structure (for example, for the lateral-torsional buckling analysis, the design of continuous beams, load application).
Types of Sets of Members in RFEM and RSTAB
- A 'continuous member' is created by means of connected members which are not branching.
- A 'group of members' consists of connected members which are probably branching.
