View Mode

Glossary Term

A view mode is the setting of a work window, where you can only change the perspective.

In RFEM and RSTAB, some dialog boxes provide the option to display the respective situation as a view on the model. This view mode is accessible via the button with the eye. In this case, the dialog box disappears and the view appears in the work plane with the information that you are currently in view mode.

The view mode includes the functions of the View menu, such as zooming, moving, or rotating the model. By clicking 'Back' in the yellow information window, the previous dialog box appears again and you can continue with editing.
