There is an RSTAB structure including load combinations. I want to apply the combinations also to other models already created.
Is there any easier procedure than copying and inserting from Word into a new CO?
If you want to use your defined load and result combinations also for other structures, RFEM/RSTAB provides the option to define some "combination schemes".
Open the Combination Scheme dialog box in the "Tools" menu. A scheme defined here can be reused anytime as an accessible basic table for your load data. You can create and recall such a combination scheme in any opened model.
In the combination scheme, you can specify the load cases, load combinations and result combinations to be created, including all relevant parameters and basic settings. In addition to the number of LCs, COs and RCs, you can also define the factors and the superposition type.
Then, when creating new models, you can quickly access these specifications so that you only have to enter the respective parts of the load cases such as member loads and so on. In case you have already created schemata earlier, you can select one of them from the pull-down list.
To create another combination scheme, click the [Create New Combination Scheme] button. It is also possible to import existing load cases and combinations of the current structure.
Use the [Generate in tables defined load cases, load combinations, and result combinations] button to transfer the current combination scheme to the structure.
Furthermore, it is possible to export the combination schemata to Excel. A reimport from Excel is also possible.
The created combination schemes are stored in the KombinSchema.dat file in the master data folder (usually in "C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\Stammdat"). If you copy this file before to another computer, you can also use the combination schemes there.
