When displaying the result values 'Values on Surfaces', there are two distinctions.The result values are displayed either on the 'Grid and User-Defined Points' or on the 'FE Mesh Points'.When displaying the 'Grid and User-Defined Points', the results are displayed in the distance of the grid points.The distance of the grid points is a property of the surface and can be controlled in the 'Edit Surface' dialog box.Alternatively, you can display the result values in 'FE Mesh Points'.The number of FE mesh points depends on the generated FE mesh size.You can control the displayed color gradient by selecting the option 'Internal Forces/Stresses' in the Display navigator. AnswerFor this, the results including the result values on surfaces are very helpful.In this case, the extreme values are only displayed by default. Furthermore, you can specify in the Results navigator whether to display the max/min values of the total model, of all surfaces or solids, or of all local extreme values.
AnswerResult values can be rotated by any angle (see Figure 01). With this setting, all result values will be rotated. For single walls and ceilings, it is not possible to define different orientations so far.
AnswerPlease note that in the case of a nonlinear calculation, the reinforcement is not increased automatically. The nonlinear calculation is based on the reinforcement already provided. This provided reinforcement can result from the ultimate limit state designs or from the defined basic reinforcement, for example. The reinforcement applied to the SLS designs can be displayed graphically (see Figure 02).Problem Cause:If there is no reinforcement resulting from the ULS or the basic reinforcement in any areas, the serviceability limit state design is carried out without the applied reinforcement, which may cause very high results, for example, of a crack width.Problem Solution:You should ensure that there is the reinforcement available in each area of the structure. This can be done by applying the basic reinforcement (see Figure 03).
Usually, the problem can be solved by right-clicking one of the displayed grid results and selecting the 'Show All' option from the shortcut menu (see the figure).
The results should now be displayed on each grid point - both in the result graphic and in the printout report.
