The 'Softlock' (SL) has to be activated once on a computer. Please use the instructions that you find under Downloads below.
By activating the SL, it is connected to the computer by the mainboard ID and hard disk ID.
If an SL is activated on a PC, no formatting of the hard disk or a reinstallation of the operating system must be carried out. No change of mainboard or hard disk is allowed either.
If you have to change anything on the PC, transfer the SL to another PC in advance. Please also have a look at the instructions from page 2 onwards.
If the authorization dialog box (see figure) does not appear when opening the programs, it is because an authorization file has already been used on this computer.
To activate the softlock licence, delete the AUTHOR.ini file. This is located in the directory C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\Global\General Data by default.
Then, start the program again. In the 'Authorization' dialog box, you can activate the licence now.
If the dialog box should not be displayed, please contact our hotline. Send in the 'authorization.txt' file, which you can create using the program menu 'Help → Authorization → Diagnostics'.
There can be many reasons for that. Please send us the 'authorization.txt' file, which you can create in RFEM/RSTAB using the program menu 'Help → Authorization → Diagnostics'. This is also possible in the demo version.
If you have changed your computer or formatted your hard drive without changing the partitions, please contact our hotline. You will then receive your existing licence file with the instructions for reactivation of the softlock.
