Yes, that is possible. The output is available in the menu File → Export to DXF. To also include possible stiffening elements, it is necessary to complete the calculation first and then carry out the export. Otherwise, the stiffening elements will not be output in the DXF. The elements such as nodes, supports, and geometry are written into different layers and can be deactivated as required in the CAD program.
• ### How do the network licenses work and how often is it possible to license a program to it?

Generally, two things are required for the licensing:

The license key can be provided via a USB dongle or by means of a network softlock on a central company server. For the licensing from perspective of a client, there must be a permanent connection to the server. Once a license has been assigned, it can be viewed on the web-based license surface at http://localhost:1947/_int_/sessions.html. An automatic timeout after 12 hours of inactivity prevents a license from being permanently assigned and releases it to other users.
With the most recent generation of license keys, it is possible to activate 50 licenses per program and add-on module. This means that you can access RFEM and RF-STEEL EC3 from a maximum of 50 computers at a time.
• ### Why is the transversal compression factor kc,90 of 1.0 assumed in the design of support pressure?

Section 6.1.5 (4) of Eurocode 5 requires to apply the smaller transversal compression coefficient of kc,90 for the concentrated loads that are close to the support.

As an option, it is possible to deactivate the support pressure design in the RX‑TIMBER program and set the corresponding transversal compression stiffening.

If the entered concentrated load is not relevant for design, there is the additional option to assign the user-defined transversal compression factor (Figure 03).
• ### I have purchased the programs RFEM and RSTAB. However, I can only see RFEM (or RSTAB) in the Download section in my Dlubal Account. Why?

• ### When I open the Windows calculator in Dlubal Software programs, an error message appears. In fact, the calculator will start, but it is not possible to transfer the results directly. What is the reason?

Unfortunately, the calculator implemented in Windows 10 is not compatible with our programs. You can use, for example, the "Copy" option to paste the values into the clipboard and then paste them into the program in order to still use the calculator. A better alternative is to replace the Windows 10 calculator with Windows 7 or Windows 8. There are sufficient instructions on the Internet to carry out this procedure. It is only necessary to make sure that the calc.exe file in the Windows folder C:\Windows\System32 runs the old calculator afterwards. The Windows 7 calculator can then be used as usual after importing the results.
• ### Is it possible to open the RX‑TIMBER files in RFEM and RSTAB?

To open an RX‑TIMBER file in RFEM or RSTAB, select the "All Files (*.*)" option as "File Type" (see Figure 01). Thus, the geometric data, loads and load combinations will be imported. The settings relevant for the design, such as shear force reduction, fire protection definitions, serviceability limit state parameters, an so on, are not transferred and must be redefined in RF‑/TIMBER Pro.

If the model does not appear in the work window, you can display the view using the "Show Whole Model" option (see Figure 02).
• ### How can I change the language in the RX‑TIMBER add-on module?

In contrast to RFEM and RSTAB, the language settings in the RX‑TIMBER add-on module can be found in Project Manager of the program. You can find the corresponding setting under "Edit" in the menu bar (see Figure 01).
