AnswerIt is currently possible for a few add-on modules to enlarge the work window. These are, for example, RF‑/FRAME‑JOINT Pro or the RF‑/TOWER add-on modules. If there is a highlight in the lower right corner of the dialog box, the window can be enlarged.
AnswerThe member internal forces and designs are displayed two-colored by default. The positive internal forces are displayed in blue and the negative internal forces in red.If the member internal forces are displayed with the "With/Without Diagram," you can control the color assignment of the graphical results according to the scale in the panel.
AnswerGuidelines are always created in the current work plane. The work plane can be parallel to one of the following global planes: XY, YZ, XZ.
AnswerIn the case of the "Main member only" joint type, the member can be cut at any angle. The cutting angle δ can be adjusted under the geometry properties (see the figure).
AnswerSometimes, it is not possible to print the graphics bigger as the lighting of the structure is controlled by a box in the background. Therefore, some space is lost in the printout report.
AnswerPlease check if the "Lock Line Grids" function is not activated by mistake. You can find this function in the Data navigator under the "Guide Objects" → "Line Grid" entry.
Something has been probably changed in the detailed settings of the printout report selection. To check this, open the "RC Results" tab.
In the "Table" column, some rows have three dots. This indicates a button that you can activate to click in this line. It provides access to further selection criteria, such as the selection of only extreme values for member internal forces (Figure 01) or nodal values and extreme values (Figure 02).
I have applied a strict numbering of the objects to a global spatial model.
However, the Visibility by Numbering function only allows me to display either surfaces or members by their numbering. Is there an easy way to display the members 100 to 120 as well as the surfaces numbered in the same area in one visibility?
AnswerIt should work with the Special Selection → Add function. Here is a short video explaining the exact procedure.
The load values of generated loads are recorded in Table "3.15 Generated Loads." It is not possible to make any changes there.
If you want to change the loads, you have to disconnect the generated loads. You can do this quickly by using the shortcut menu of the load (see the figure).
The header properties created from the customer data during the installation can be changed in the printout report by using the menu Settings → Header... or by using the corresponding button in the toolbar of the printout report.
For example, if you set the default numbers for "Page" and select the check box, the individual pages are managed continuously.
The "Details" button allows you to enter detailed settings for the numbering in a new dialog box. Among other things, this dialog box controls whether there is a prefix added to the page numbering. The prefix can be an abbreviation that is specified chapter by chapter, for example, to indicate all model data in the numbering with a prefix "MO."
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add suffixes.

Wind Simulation & Wind Load Generation
With the stand-alone program RWIND Simulation, wind flows around simple or complex structures can be simulated by means of a digital wind tunnel.
The generated wind loads acting on these objects can be imported to RFEM or RSTAB.
“Thank you for the valuable information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. I have used a lot of software with a support contract in the field of structural analysis, but your support is by far the best. ”
