In RFEM and RSTAB, the loads acting on members are always displayed in the centroid of a cross‑section. However, it is only a graphic display of the load. Actually, the load effect is always in the shear centre of a cross‑section.
Therefore, a torsional moment is additionally applied for unsymmetric sections, in case the loads have an effect on another point of the cross‑section, for example on a centroid.
