Grisons' longest pedestrian bridge with six main cables and cable guys | Load tests confirm precision

The LaPendenta suspension bridge is the longest pedestrian bridge in the Alpine region of Graubünden. The structure has six main suspension cables with a diameter of 45 mm, which run at different heights. Additional guys minimize vibrations and ensure high stability. Engineers carried out extensive load tests and compared real measured values with calculations using RFEM. | Photo: © Christian Loretz.
