Reinforcement Optimization in Reinforced Concrete Slab
Display of linear elastic analysis results of a slab in RFEM 6.
3D model representing a monolithic reinforced concrete slab with dimensions of 46.8 × 20.7 m and a thickness of 280 mm, supported by square columns 450 × 450 mm. The model contains an opening and was analyzed in RFEM 6 using finite element analysis to assess punching shear of surfaces, members, and shear dowels. The results showed optimization of reinforcement compared to manual calculation. The model was created by Michaela Rotterová as part of her Bachelor's thesis, which was entered into the Dlubal Talent ČVUT competition.
