Footbridge Across the Jizera, Semily
Pedestrian and cyclist footbridge over the Jizera River made of prestressed concrete in Semily.
The project deals with the design of an alternative solution for a pedestrian and cycle bridge over the Jizera River in Semily. An integrated parapet structure made of post-tensioned concrete was chosen as the most suitable option. Thanks to the absence of bearings and bridge expansion joints, the maintenance requirements are reduced. This model is part of the Dlubal Talent ČVUT program.
