The model was created as part of the Dlubal Talent ČVUT competition and presents a design for a pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the Jizera River in Semily. The author, Martin Forman from the Department of Concrete and Masonry Structures at ČVUT, designed an integrated parapet structure made of post-tensioned concrete, which minimizes maintenance due to the absence of bearings and expansion joints. The alternative design included a comparative study with a beam footbridge and reinforced concrete variants, with post-tensioning proving necessary for the given geometry. Piles were replaced by micropiles due to the rocky subsoil.
