Rhino Grasshopper to RSTAB export?

I am trying to export data (in this case points coordinates) from Rhino's generative algorithm plug-in Grasshopper to RSTAB. But for some reason I can not import the .xls file I got from Grasshopper. To be precise - I can import it, but nothing happens after the Importing, no imported nodes appear.



Can you please tell me what is wrong?

Hi Geoge,

when handing structures over from GH to Rstab/Rfem you should consider using the RS-Com/RF-Com interface, a VB based scripting language to interact which allowsyou to directly write/read/calculate out of other applications like GH and a VB component.

The beginning to handle that way is a little hard but then the exchange works quite good.

A bit rarely somebody replies in here to us - nonGerman speaking users.

I know, I already seen some of your screenshots on Grasshopper forum. Great work!
But that requires programming knowledge.

I solved my problem, by exporting the .xls file first and then importing it back:
