While the term structural analysis generally refers to the load-bearing and possibly invisible elements of a building, the facade is visible at the first sight and primarily has an architectural and design function.

Facades can typically consist of the following material:

  • Glass
  • Aluminum
  • Timber
  • Concrete
  • Masonry
