Slab‑Wall Connections in RFEM 6

The connection properties between a reinforced concrete slab and a masonry wall can be correctly considered using a special line hinge that is available in RFEM 6. This special type line hinge limits the transferable forces of the connection depending on the specified geometry, and prevents the material from overloading.

In 2021, a timber pavilion called "Into the Woods" was built in the garden of the Swiss Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created on the occasion of the annual festival "3 Days of Design".

"Crocodile" Building in the Lokstadt Area Development in Winterthur, Switzerland

Lokstadt, a new urban district, is under construction in the city of Winterthur, Switzerland. The first building to be completed is called "Crocodile". This residential building, which was BIM planned right from the start, is one of the largest timber structures in Switzerland.
