The FE analysis determines the results for each FE mesh node. Usually, a continuous distribution of the internal force or deformation is preferable for the graphic. For this purpose, it is necessary to smooth the results, for example via interpolation.
The following smoothing options are available for surfaces and solids:
- Constant on elements
- Non continuous
- Continuous within surfaces or solids
- Continuous total
- Continously by groups
In addition, it is possible to define smooth ranges for result diagrams (see Figure 9.36).
