Le dépôt de la route Sages à Glenroy, en Australie, est un projet innovant en bois massif qui combine des poutres en lamellé-collé, des dalles en CLT et des techniques de construction hybrides. A key challenge was the design of 20 highly complex glulam trusses, each with a unique geometry and height, which required fully customized engineering solutions. The CLT slabs were designed with large openings to enhance visual connectivity and were engineered to act as rigid diaphragms, ensuring effective load distribution and overall structural stability. The coordination with the local architect, SxWA, and the contractor, Building Engineering, while complying with Eurocode 5, Eurocode 3, and the Australian Building Code, added an additional layer of complexity.📐
Structural analysis and detailing were carried out using RFEM and supported by an advanced BIM process up to LOD 400, enabling seamless collaboration and accurate execution.
