Data management RFEM RSTAB

The company headers that have been created additionally were deleted by installing another program version.

Where is the data stored? I want to save it before the next installation.

Réponse

The printout report headers that you have created in the printout report by using the pull-down menu "Settings" -> "Header" are stored in the file "DlubalProtocolConfig.cfg" that you can find in the master data folder (for example C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\Stammdat).

In order to enter changes in this file, it is necessary that you save all changes when closing RSTAB or RFEM.

To avoid overwriting the created printout report headers with a new update, you can save this file before.

The specifications for the printout report template are saved in the file "RstabProtocolConfig.cfg" or "RfemProtocolConfig.cfg". For a new installation the same applies as for the file mentioned above.

If you have created combination schemes, they are saved in the file "KombinSchema.dat" that is also available in the master data folder.

The best is: Save the entire master data folder before the next installation. In this way, you make sure that no user-defined files will be overwritten.

The projects linked in the Project Manager are managed in the file PRO.DLP which can normally be found in the folder C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\ProMan. If you want to uninstall RSTAB or RFEM before an update, you should save this file, too.

Furthermore, you can export the settings used in the program, such as the display properties, fonts, toolbars, printout report headers etc., in a file and reimport them, if necessary. You can access this function by selecting "Configuration Manager" on the "Options" menu.
