Modélisation & Structure RFEM

I need to analyze a building by floor. Is it possible in RFEM to insert the support forces of a calculated model into a new model as loads?

Réponse

In RFEM, you have the option to import loads as support loads from other models.

Support loads can be imported to the current load case from other RFEM models as nodal and line support forces. To do this, select on the menu "Tools" -> "Import Support Reactions As Load."

A dialog box appear, where you define the model, from which you want to import the loads. Furthermore, you need to specify the LC, CO, or RC numbers and the corresponding surfaces, nodes, and lines, whose support reactions are relevant.

You can also determine the load position. Please note that the other model has to be calculated and saved (optional).

Please note that it is not possible to import from a 3D to a 2D plate.
