A kindergarten, designed according to Building Information Modeling (BIM), is currently under construction in the Tyrolean municipality of Schwoich. The digital 3D model accompanies the construction project from design until completion.
The architectural planning has been performed with Autodesk Revit. The structural model, including cross-sections, materials, loads, etc., has been exported to RFEM with the direct interface and designed there.

The wildlife crossing AM2 has been built with a construction method for concrete shell structures called Pneumatic Forming of Hardened Concrete (PFHC). This new method has been developed by the TU Wien in the context of the research project "Double Curved Shell Structures".

The "Pneumatic Wedge Method" is a new technique for the construction of double-curved concrete surfaces by means of pneumatic formwork. The advantage of this method is that elaborate structures for molds and scaffolding are not needed anymore.
Using the "Pneumatic Wedge Method", the Vienna University of Technology has built a double-curved concrete shell as part of a research project. The deformation process and the final structural conditions have been checked with RFEM.

A single-family home with a remarkable roof structure stands in Upper Austria since 2014. The circle in the center of the building is spanned by a tented roof built as a visible wooden structure. Together with the light‑flooded glass facade, it is a real eye‑catcher.
LACKNER + RAML Ziviltechniker – GmbH
In June 2013, one of the world's highest timber look-out constructions was opened in Austria, on the Pyramidenkogel, a mountain in Carinthia. The tower including the spire is 100 m high. It has four accessible viewing platforms, one is closed and three are open, offering a breathtaking view over the Alps-Adriatic region and the lakes of Carinthia.
The fourteen-storey hotel is directly facing Olympiaworld, Tyrol's largest sports and event center. The building represents one of the highest constructions of the beautiful Alpine city.
Entering the terrace on the eleventh floor, visitors enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Tyrolean mountains and the Bergiselschanze, a world-famous ski jumping hill which is part of the annual International Four Hills Tournament.

In autumn 2012, construction has started in Wörgl, Austria for an apartment complex that is, by request of the building owner, completely planned and designed as a BIM model including structural analysis, work planning, call for tenders, etc.
Special software tools of b.i.m.m GmbH, an Austrian company for building information model management, were used to allow the cooperation of the architects, structural engineers and company technicians working together efficiently within the same 3D model. Basic software used during the project are RFEM and the Autodesk programs Revit Architecture and Revit Structure for which Dlubal Software provides a direct interface.

In Gerasdorf, a municipality in the north of Vienna, the G3 Shopping Resort is currently being built. It represents the largest construction project that has ever been announced for cross‑laminated timber, being the biggest construction site for timber in Europe.
More than 8,000 m³ of cross-laminated timber and approx. 3,500 m³ of glued-laminated beams were used for the construction work. Both the architecturally sophisticated design and the complexstructural calculation are penned by ATP Architects & Engineers, the Austrian customer of Dlubal Software. The structural analysis was created under the leadership of Dipl.‑Ing. Gustav Trefil.
