Additional Analysis for RFEM 6
Expand your options in RFEM 6 with our extensive range of add-ons! Our modular software concept allows you to customize RFEM for different technical areas. This page provides a comprehensive overview of all available add-ons to help you plan and implement your projects more efficiently.
Nonlinear Material Behavior
The "Nonlinear Material Behavior" add-on allows you to take material nonlinearities in RFEM into account. If you use nonlinear material models in RFEM, the program always performs an iterative calculation. Depending on the material model, it defines a different relationship between stresses and strains. The stiffness of the finite elements is repeatedly adjusted during the iterations until the stress-strain relationship is complied with.
Construction Stages
The Construction Stages Analysis (CSA) add-on allows for considering the construction process of structures (member, surface, and solid structures) in RFEM.
Time-Dependent Analysis (TDA)
The Time-Dependent Analysis (TDA) add-on allows you to consider the time-dependent material behavior of members and surfaces. The long-term effects, such as creep, shrinkage, and aging, can influence the distribution of internal forces, depending on the structure.
Lateral-Torsional Buckling with Warping Torsion
The Torsional Warping (7 DOF) add-on allows you to consider cross-section warping as an additional degree of freedom.
Geotechnical Analysis
In RFEM, the Geotechnical Analysis add-on uses the properties from soil samples to determine a soil body to be analyzed.
