Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get the login credentials?

If you do not have a Dlubal account yet, you will receive your login data and installation instructions via email. Otherwise, you can create an account in the Dlubal Extranet and download the software. You will only need your email address and a password to log in.

The installation is performed locally on any number of workstations. Log in with your Dlubal account credentials.

Note: Preferably use corporate email addresses for better management of users and licenses.

How does the license management work?

For the online license, you only need a Dlubal account and an internet connection. After logging in, select the license, and you can start working immediately. The connection is only required for the initial login, after which the license remains active for 24 hours.

The licenses are hosted on Dlubal servers, without separate license management. Communication via port 443 is necessary. If there are problems with the SSL certificate, please check FAQ 5118. FAQ 5118: Login – SSL Handshake Failed

Note: A license extension is required for multiple locations.

Is it possible to use a license offline?

With multiple online licenses, companies benefit from flexible license management. All associated users have access to the purchased licenses, which are not tied to a specific computer or user and can be shared.

Additionally, a license can be checked out for up to 30 days without a constant internet connection. The loan period can be adjusted directly in the license manager.

Can I share a license?

As soon as multiple online licenses are purchased and several users access them, you benefit from flexible license management. In doing so, you benefit from the fact that all users associated with a company with a Dlubal account have access to all purchased licenses. The floating licenses are neither tied to a computer nor a user and can be shared among several users.

Is SSO technology supported for login?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows you to access multiple independent software systems with a single set of login credentials, such as your user name and password.

RFEM 6, RSTAB 9, and RSECTION 1 provide this login option.
Using SSO, it is not necessary to log in separately for each system, which simplifies the login process and increases user-friendliness.
