Automatic Generation of Combinations in RFEM and RSTAB
In RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9, load and result combinations are automatically created according to the Chinese standards GB 50009, GB 50011, and GB 50068.
Steel Design According to GB 50017
The Steel Design add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 performs the ultimate and serviceability limit state design of members according to the Chinese standard GB 50017.
Timber Design According to GB 50005
The Timber Design add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 performs all typical ultimate limit state, stability, serviceability limit state, and fire resistance design checks of timber members according to the Chinese standard GB 50005.
Seismic Design According to GB 50011
The Modal Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 allows you to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes.
In the Response Spectrum Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9, the seismic analysis is performed using the multi-modal response spectrum analysis. Among others, the Chinese standard GB 50011 is implemented.

Designing Surfaces Using Internal Forces Without Rib Component
For the design of concrete surfaces, the rib component of the internal forces can be neglected for the ULS calculation and for the analytical method of the SLS calculation, because this component is already considered in the member design. To do this, select the check box in the "Details" dialog box. If no rib was defined, this function is not available.
- Why are the values of a column base, head, or center on the individual columns only displayed partially for the results from the calculation in RF‑CONCRETE Columns?
- Is it also possible to reduce the shear force on a support or perform design with the shear force at a distance d to the support in RF‑CONCRETE Surfaces?
- When I create a user-defined result value, the RFEM solver window opens briefly and the calculation is apparently performed again. Why? I have already performed the calculation.
