We provide a free online training quota of 1–3 hours per semester or half-year per college or university.
Location
We currently conduct training exclusively online.
Cost
Training is free of charge within the quota specified above.
Should there be a need for additional training beyond this, it will be provided for a fee based on actual hours worked at an engineer’s hourly rate of €325.00.
Training Objective
Students and new users are intended to gain a basic understanding of the application possibilities of the Dlubal software RFEM. The goal is for participants to be able to input and edit simple models after the course, as well as to understand the principles of structural design. Participants will also learn how to document structural analysis calculations using Dlubal structural analysis software.
Prerequisites
Prior theoretical knowledge of structural analysis (upper-division students, attendance at structural analysis lectures), an installed and functional student version of RFEM (either on a personal laptop or installed on the university’s computer lab computers). No prior knowledge of Dlubal’s RFEM software is required.

- Introduction to the program
- Teaching the basic working method with RFEM

Notes
- The minimum number of participants per training session is 10. The maximum number of participants will be determined in consultation with the person in charge. Additional arrangements can be made upon request.
- A suitable computer with a current student version of RFEM installed and running is required to complete the course. Participants will work on their own computers. In addition, course participants will receive detailed training materials in PDF format.
- A list of participating students must be submitted prior to the training date.
- The university will provide a suitable room and a projector with HD resolution.
- Upon completion of the training, each participant will receive a certificate.
