ALBYR Structures, Bordeaux, France
The ALBYR Structures team was awarded the design for a new industrial hall in a high seismic activity region. The hall includes seven interior double-hinged frames with tapered beam ends as well as floor levels for offices. The columns were designed to support crane girders for a 5 ton crane.

To meet the needs of an expanding city, the city of Donzère constructed a sporting venue on a large triangular island located at the foot of the historic village. The new structure, dedicated to local schools and clubs, created the opportunity for sporting event practices and competitions.

This single storey 1,100 m2 nursery school accommodates up to 70 children. The building property is also surrounded by playgrounds and other green spaces.
Indermühle Bauingenieure, Thun, Switzerland
The school building addition in Sutz-Lattrigen was built on the existing ground floor. This foundation was not designed to withstand a second storey. Therefore, the loads from the first floor and the additional second storey had to be designed as concentrated loads. In order to reduce weight but also for educational and sustainability reasons, timber was used in the construction of the new building.

The recent trend in high-rise construction is clearly dominated by timber as the most ecological and environmentally friendly material. The project promoter Nexity Resolutely is committed to constructive building solutions with a reduced carbon footprint through various labels and certifications included in their several office and commercial timber projects. Among these is the Palazzo Meridia which is currently the tallest CLT office building in France. The Dlubal customer CBS-Lifteam was responsible for the planning, supply and installation of the timber structure.

StructureCraft Builders Inc., Canada
With an area of 10,200 m², the North Surrey Sports and Ice Complex includes three ice rinks, event rooms, restaurants, as well as outdoor areas.
StructureCraft, a customer of Dlubal Software, was selected as the structural engineer and builder of the roof structure for this exciting local project in Surrey, Canada, after proposing a turnkey, value engineered solution in late 2017.
Indermühle Bauingenieure, Switzerland
After 2 1/2 + years of construction, the world’s highest 3S cableway "Matterhorn glacier ride" was opened at the end of September 2018. The CHF 55 million project was developed to increase passenger capacity to the Klein Matterhorn sitting at an altitude of 3902 m. Additionally, it’s now possible to keep the service running when performing maintenance work to the existing tramway.
Moses Structural Engineers Inc. & Halsall
Following remodeling, the TD Place Stadium in Canada’s capital Ottawa can hold up to 24,000 visitors. The sports complex is located at Lansdowne Park and is primarily used for Canadian football and soccer. The architectural highlight of the stadium is the curvilinear timber veil.

The modular structure of the school will only remain at the present location for eight years. After this period, 36 timber modules including the screw foundations will be removed entirely and reconstructed at another location. Therefore, a completely new configuration of the floors and the ground plan design will be possible. The simple yet functional structure includes the architectural highlight of a front-facing flight of stairs constructed with timber truss girders.
Sailer Stepan Partner GmbH
The project St. Josef in Holzkirchen comprises the main church and a chapel which are connected by a common foyer with the sacristy. The foyer area and the sacristy were built as a reinforced concrete building. Main church and chapel are differently sized timber structures and take the form of inclined truncated cones with an elliptical footprint.
