🏛️ Customer Project: Thermal Optimization and Natural Ventilation at Musée d'Orsay, France 🌟
We’re proud to highlight the exceptional work of our customer, NeMo-K, in collaboration with Marie-Suzanne de Ponthaud, Chief Architect of Historic Monuments in France. This project focuses on enhancing the thermal performance and natural ventilation of the iconic Musée d'Orsay in Paris. 🇫🇷
Project Highlights:
🔹 Diagnosis of envelope structures: facades, skylights, and roofing
🔹 Renovation of the skylight: Replacement of exterior glass panes with new aluminum frames and low-factor solar glazing
🔹 Natural ventilation analysis: Testing optimal opening positions for improved airflow and reduced greenhouse effect
🔹 Wind load definition: Structural analysis for the entrance canopy renovation on Bellechasse Square
Advanced Tools Used:
🔹 Rhino3D: For modeling the main structural systems
🔹 RWIND: For wind load simulation and natural ventilation potential analysis
🔹 RFEM 6: For structural design checks
This project is a stunning combination of architectural preservation and modern engineering solutions, ensuring the museum remains a comfortable and sustainable space for its visitors while respecting its historic integrity.
