A Skill represents a saved and reusable engineering workflow. Instead of solving a similar detail from scratch for every new project, you save your proven solution as a Skill. It then acts as a parameterized template that automatically applies your logic to new situations with slightly different parameters.

Do I need to know how to code to create my own Skill?

You do not need any programming knowledge at all. Dlubal CALC features a built-in tool called the Skill Author. Using a standard guided conversation in the chat, you can transform your own engineering know-how into a fully functional automation.

What is the difference between the Prompts Library and the Skills Library?

The Prompts Library stores your frequently used text instructions and questions. Saving these text snippets helps your team avoid typing the same complex engineering requests over and over again.

The Skills Library contains the actual automated workflows and calculation procedures. In short, a prompt is the text you use to communicate with Mia. A skill is the underlying tool Mia uses to perform the actual engineering task. You can even link your saved prompts directly to a specific skill to make your workflow perfectly seamless.
