RFEM and RSTAB include an extensive materials library, which can be extended by user‑defined materials. Starting with version X.05, the materials library provides a convenient full‑text search. This way, you can find materials more quickly.

Dlubal Software Programs provide a materials library. This library covers almost all materials commonly used in civil engineering, including the corresponding parameters for calculation and design.

Creating Favorites Group in Cross-Section Library

The "Filter" option in the cross‑section library allows you to show only cross‑sections of certain standards, shapes, or types. In the same window, you can also select the material.

Material Library with Calculation- and Design-Relevant Parameters

Extensive cross‑section and material libraries facilitate the modeling of plate and beam structures. These databases can be filtered and expanded with user-defined entries. It is possible to import and analyze special cross‑sections from SHAPE‑THIN and SHAPE‑MASSIVE.

Infotainment

Use the "Independent mesh preferred" option in the FE mesh settings to create an independent FE mesh for the integrated objects. This allows you to generate a significantly more detailed and precise FE mesh for individual objects that are integrated into one another.

What is the difference between an upgrade and an update?

After installing RFEM 5.20.01 or RSTAB 8.20.01, our network license no longer works. What can we do?

Are the upcoming upgrades of RFEM/RSTAB and the individual programs included in a service contract?

After an update of RSTAB, my .rst files, which had been used by another program, are always opened with RSTAB. However, the .rst file does not belong to RSTAB, but to another program. How do I control the association of the file type?

Why are the commands added in toolbars sometimes lost after the update?

Is the update installed over the old version? Or is a parallel version of the program created?
