Considering Snow Drift

In RFEM and RSTAB, snow drift is considered according to 5.3.4(3) of DIN EN 1991‑1‑3 for multi‑span roofs.
To determine the correct load, it is necessary to specify the position of the drifted snow at the according nodes of the roof surface. In this way, you can quickly create the two load cases “Snow with Drifted Snow” and “Snow Without Drifted Snow.”
