Amphitheater Roof at Benedikt
A new membrane roof for the amphitheater by the Benedikt water reservoir in Most was completed in June 2023. It provides sun and rain protection while serving as a visual landmark. The lightweight tensile structure, designed by Carl Stahl, uses perimeter cables and arch supports.
Bird Aviary at Prague Zoo
A lightweight bird aviary, measuring 14m by 10m, was completed in April 2023. The structure features a stainless steel cable arch system and a stretched net, designed for stability and wind resistance. The project was analyzed using Dlubal's RFEM software.
Customer Project
Sichuan Bird Pavilion – Prague Zoo
This lightweight bird pavilion, completed in April 2023, is located in the southern part of the Sichuan Pavilion in Prague Zoo. The structure uses an arch support system and stainless steel cables with a tensioned net to create an open and airy space. Structural behavior was analyzed with RFEM, incorporating form-finding techniques to optimize design.
