I chose Dlubal’s RFEM for the design of our timber, concrete, and steel structures, as well as masonry, aluminum, and more. As a structural and building envelope engineering firm working with all materials, RFEM is particularly well-suited to my way of working: powerful 3D modeling, joint management and load combination checks, surface and solid models, highly customizable automatic report generation—with the ability to build template libraries tailored to client requirements—and integration with other software such as Revit, Rhino 3D/Grasshopper, etc.
The interface is clear and intuitive; input data and post-processing information are shown in a transparent and editable manner to ensure readability and understanding, making it easy to convey ideas.
Finally, Dlubal offers regular webinars that are very useful for training, along with a responsive and knowledgeable support hotline, which guarantees us reliable day-to-day support. The software is updated very regularly, with a focus on addressing engineers’ requests and a high level of responsiveness, not to mention the add-on modules that continue to expand over time.
In short, with RFEM, we know we’re investing in software that will continue to evolve—already very comprehensive—and is carefully maintained by the development teams to provide the best solution for structural engineers.
