For the "Oxigeno" project in San José, Costa Rica, an innovative ETFE roof was implemented, spanning the main food court of a nearly 125,000 m² recreational and shopping center. The 1,600 m² ETFE cushion is currently the largest of its kind worldwide. The modeler used RFEM and RF-FORM-FINDING for the form-finding and calculation of complex cable net and membrane structures (© z3rch). The construction incorporates state-of-the-art methods in steel construction, membrane, and textile construction.
