The EGT group built an oval, four-story new building in St. Georgen, Germany, mainly of timber - realized in just four weeks. The energy efficiency and sustainability are emphasized by the absence of a concrete core and the exclusive stiffening by means of solid cross-laminated timber walls. The structural and dynamic analysis was performed in RFEM, created by Isenmann Ingenieur GmbH (© Isenmann Ingenieur GmbH). The 3D model impressively shows this innovative construction method.
