The model describes an innovative tetrapod made of steel, which was realized as part of the repurposing of a former waste dump in Baesweiler, Germany. The project served as an impetus for the establishment of a regional technology hub and was awarded the 2009 German Landscape Architecture Prize. IFS-Beratende Ingenieure für Bauwesen Prof. Feyerabend was in charge of the implementation. Schüller Partnerschaftsgesellschaft from Hürth, which realized the sophisticated steel construction approach. The concept combines sustainable revitalization with precise technical design.
