The model documents an extraordinary project by the architectural office bergmeister-wolf in Val Gardena (South Tyrol). The facade consisting of triangles presented the timber engineer with major challenges, as it only partially contributed to the load transfer. Schrentewein & Partner mastered this by using the inner parts of the building for the force transmission - illustrated in 3D global models and design internal forces in RFEM.
