This two-hinged frame model was designed for use with the finite element analysis software, RFEM, and was presented in the free webinar “Stability Analyses and Consideration of Warping Torsion (7 Degrees of Freedom) in RFEM 6.” It provides a practical visualization of frame behavior and stability analyses, as well as a detailed consideration of warping torsion. This model can be used to understand and examine complex effects on steel frames. It is ideal for applications where 7 degrees of freedom need to be considered.
