This model illustrates the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) test, extending the previous VE0309 test by using a rough surface boundary condition. It references the German WTG Fact Sheet from Committee 3 focusing on the numerical simulation of wind flows, specifically targeting terrain category 0 as defined in EN 1991-1-4. The modeling includes the development of velocity profiles, turbulence kinetic energy, and turbulence dissipation rate using a vertically anisotropic turbulence model. The RANS k-ω SST turbulence model is applied for analysis.
